I finished my Abitur this year. Before that I spent most of my life playing soccer. Now I’m learning to build with AI tools like Claude, and I’m putting every step of it on video — including the early, rough ones.

I don’t have ten years of experience to show you. What I have is a start date and a habit: make something, publish it, get told what’s wrong with it, make the next one better.

The honest answer to “what now?” after school was that I didn’t want the obvious one. I didn’t want to end up working in a warehouse and calling it a career. I wanted work I could get better at, that would take me places, and that would still be interesting in ten years.

So I started building things with Claude — websites, content, small automations — and filming myself doing it. My first video is genuinely called “Mein erstes Video.” It’s five minutes of a person figuring it out on camera. I left it up on purpose.

I got into this through Leo Pohlmann and his brother Mats, friends of mine here in Cologne, and through Dennis Yu, who has spent years teaching young people this exact skill set.

I’m at the very beginning. I know that. The plan isn’t to pretend otherwise — it’s to publish consistently enough that in a year the beginning looks a long way back.
